Golden Boy fish sauce is the Grade A fish sauce made by Tang Heab Seng. It is a pure sauce with a strong aroma flavor and smell. The fish sauce liquid is clear and reddish brown and made from the anchovy family. The biological name of the fish is Engraulidae or Stolephorus. Cooks Yim brand sauce is Grade B fish sauce which is lighter in color but still carries the aromas and flavor but is not as strong or robust. Both sauces have a 2 year shelf life.
Tang Heab Seng fish sauce is packed and held in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines including strict sanitary standard requirements. Tang Heab Seng takes great pride in their products and perform an on ongoing Food & Safety Program. They also participate in an effective Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Program which defines the hazards, critical control points and verification needed to insure the physical, chemical and microbiological safety of the product.
